Copper and sterling silver. Rough and rugged- good for both men and women.
The crossed oars measure about 10mm or 1/3" long. They are sterling silver and mounted on a rough, natural finish copper trapezoid just under 1" long. Ring on top is sterling silver as well.
Copper can leave a green mark on your skin especially if it's sweaty, but it is easily removable with soap and water. If you want to prevent this, you can coat the back of the pendant with clear enamel (nail polish.)
It comes on a slip knot adjustable 2mm leather necklace (adjusts from 24" to 14").
